Stoneridge Creek is promoting the importance of intergenerational connections between seniors and children in the Bay Area. In May, the community launched a “Meet the Students Day” in hopes of helping each generation learn more from one another.
Students from Fallon Middle School in Dublin visited with Stoneridge Creek residents. The students also handed out cards and spoke with them about their past experiences.
Recent statistics show intergenerational events such as “Meet the Students Day” help demonstrate to the young generation that seniors still have much to offer, and help seniors better understand and appreciate the younger generation. Events like this also help everyone share new and exciting experiences together.
Stoneridge Creek is excited to add the “Meet the Students Day” to the variety of activities offered to residents.
